Obstacles in getting meditation effect differs from person to person.

When the obstacles are getting into a ‘configuration’ it becomes combined with each other and difficult to identify.

The obstacles also indicate various ‘Dysfunctional Beliefs’ that are preventing the individual from attaining higher quality meditative states / benefits.

Such obstacles when ignored become associated with everyday meditative attempts and remain ‘bonded with’ your meditation.

Therefore, the obstacles should be rectified in the outset itself.

Following is the Scale to identify such Obstacles for Meditation Learning in an efficient way.

Go throygh each item and then choose the answer correctly. Before using this Scale, just ask the Meditation Psychologist once, when and how you should use it for your specific case (You may use Email / Whatsapp for clearing such doubts)

In the following Scale, “BEFORE” – refers to the phase of you set to meditate but not yet closed your eyes

“DURING” – refers to the phase of your eyes closed and attempting to meditate or meditating

“AFTER” – refers to the phase of your eyes opened and immediately after the “DURING” phase mentioned above

THE RESPONSES ARE INDIVIDUALISTIC AND CANNOT BE COMPARED WITH RESPONSES OF OTHERS. FOR SAME PERSON ALSO IT CAN DIFFER FROM ONE INSTANCE OF ATTEMPTING TO MEDITATE / MEDITATING, TO ANOTHER INSTANCE OF ATTEMPTING TO MEDITATE / MEDITATING.
